5 Ways to Simplify Your Online Service Business (So You Can Stress Less)

5 Ways to Simplify Your Online Service Business (So You Can Stress Less)

Business can be simple, but it isn’t meant to be easy. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

Sometimes I worry that people hear me talking about “simple business” and think that I mean business is easy. That it requires no hard work.

That is not the case.

Do I believe you have to ‘hustle’ to maintain a profitable online business? No, at least not after your initial period of establishing the business.

But will you have to put in some hard work sometimes? Absolutely.

In my eyes, hustle and hard work are two different things. And so is “simple” and “easy.

My Top 10 Mistakes & Failures In My Online Business

My Top 10 Mistakes & Failures In My Online Business

Mistakes and failures are a normal part of running a business. We ALL mess things up sometimes.

But not many of us talk about it.

When we open up Instagram, we’re mostly faced with a sea of other business owners raving about their latest launch, posting their glowing testimonials, or sharing how perfect their life is.

Don’t get me wrong - I LOVE seeing other people win.

But I think it would be helpful if more business owners shared the ugly side of business, too. Not all the time (because wouldn’t that be gloomy!) but sometimes. Because let’s face it - we all feel better about ourselves when we see that other business owners have ups and downs just like we do.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • My top 5 mistakes when I started my business

  • The top 5 mistakes I made last year, after 9 years of being an entrepreneur and over six figures a year in sales

  • The difference between problems you encounter when you first start and problems you encounter when you grow

  • The difference between struggles you face when selling a service, and struggles you face selling a product

  • The 3 things you must have in place before you even think about selling an online course

3 Questions To Help You Choose The Right Goals For The New Year

3 Questions To Help You Choose The Right Goals For The New Year

When setting business goals for the new year, it’s all too easy to set goals that aren’t actually ours.

Sometimes, we set goals based on other people’s expectations of us.

Or what society says we should aim for.

Or what our competitors are doing.

Or what we think we should do or want.

But if you want to live a life that truly makes you happy and run a business that fulfills you, you have to be intentional with your goals. You have to bravely shut out the world’s expectations of you and focus on what you want. You have to ignore what your competitors are doing and ask yourself what you really want to do.
